The Facebook avatar was recently made available in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Canada.  The company has now introduced new features in a large market through its User Accounts, India.  With this new feature, Indian Facebook users can create cartoonish characters to represent themselves in chat, like SnapChat's BitMoji and Apple's MeMoji.


  With the new feature of Facebook Avatar, users will now be able to create and share their cartoonish characters with others.  They can use these characters when commenting on profile picture and messenger chat windows posts.  Users will also be able to export these avatars to third-party apps such as SnapChat, Twitter and Instagram.



  If you want to create your own Facebook avatar, below we explain in a few simple steps how you can create an avatar and start sending it to your friends.

How to create a Facebook Avatar:


  • Update the Facebook app to the latest version of Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  •   Go to the Facebook app and tap in the Hamburger menu in the top right corner.  The hamburger menu for iOS users will be located in the bottom right corner.
  •   Scroll down and tap on the 'See more' option.

  •  Tap on the 'Avatar' option.
  •   Now you have to customize your avatar by choosing hair shape, face shape, facial lines and much more.  The app has many customizations that you can choose to personalize the avatar to your liking.
  •  You will also need to select the physical shape for the avatar.
  •   After you make all the customization.  You can tap on the icon in the right corner.

  •   The app will then create your avatar and give you tips on how to use your avatar.
  •   It will then ask you to choose a pose for your avatar and join your feed.  There is also an option to skip this step.
  •   To use your Facebook avatar, you can tap on the smiley face icon in any text field and then select the avatar from the sticker section.
